This Privacy Policy explains how TOOLS WORLD("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.toolsworldonline.com(the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy and our Terms and Conditions.

Summary

  • Tool input stays on your device. Nearly all developer tools run in your browser. We do not receive or store the JSON, code, or other data you paste into those tools.
  • One exception: Meta Tags Toolkit.When you paste a URL into the Meta Tags Toolkit and click Fetch, our server requests that public page's HTML to extract title, description, and Open Graph tags. The URL and fetched HTML are not stored or logged after the request completes.

Information we do not collect from tools

Nearly every interactive tool on TOOLS WORLD processes data locally in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you format JSON, generate a UUID, encode Base64, or use any other tool, your input is not uploaded to our servers for processing, storage, or analysis. We cannot access the content you paste into those tools.

The Meta Tags Toolkit is the one exception. When you submit a URL to fetch its meta tags, our server makes a short-lived outbound request to that public URL, parses the HTML for title and Open Graph values, and returns the result to your browser. We do not store, log, or retain the URL or page content after the response is sent.

Information we may collect automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our third-party partners may automatically collect certain non-personal and technical information, including:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on pages
  • Referring website or search query
  • General geographic location (country or city level, derived from IP)
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

This information is used to operate the Site, improve content, analyze traffic patterns, and display relevant advertising.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data in aggregated form. This helps us see which pages and tools are most useful.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us through our About page and we will take steps to delete it.

Data retention

Analytics and server log data are retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, in accordance with our service providers' policies and applicable law.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data held about you. Because we do not collect tool input and rely on third-party services for analytics and advertising, most requests should be directed to those providers using the opt-out links above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
